Our Story
SayTrees Environmental Trust was founded in 2007 by Kapil Sharma with a simple yet powerful mission: to protect and restore our planet's green cover. What began as a small group of passionate individuals concerned about rapid deforestation has grown into a trusted environmental organization with thousands of volunteers and supporters across India.
Our journey started with small-scale tree planting drives in Bangalore, but quickly expanded as more people joined our cause. Today, we implement large-scale reforestation projects, restore degraded landscapes, and work with communities, corporations, and government bodies to create sustainable environmental solutions.
Through our dedicated team of environmental experts, forestry specialists, and passionate volunteers, we've planted over 5 million trees and continue to grow our impact each year.
