Mango, popularly known as “The king of Fruits is grown all over the country. More than thousand varieties of Mangoes are grown in India. Karnataka is one of the largest producers of Mango in the country after Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. In Karnataka, 14 major varieties are grown.KOLAR district is known as the Mango Bowl of Karnataka state, in Kolar specially Srinivaspura Taluk is called  Mango City. In Srinivaspura we work closely with 257 farmers and support them in planting the desired varieties.  Farmers are supported with different mango varieties like Mallika, Badami,Bhenisha and Bengaluru. In order to maintain ecological balance and to give economical value we support farmers in plantain Guava-Taiwan pink and Allahabad Safeda, Jack fruit,Lemon, Cashewnut,Drumstick, Jamun and Sapota

The agroforestry project by SayTrees involves a holistic approach to work with farmers to address the challenges linked to soil degradation and poor productivity. The project entails agroforestry models which involve tree plantation on farmlands and training farmers on climate resilient agriculture practices to help restore degraded croplands and combat desertification, improve soil health and develop new sources of income.
